I require a fence of about 4.5 meters in length plus a pedestrian gate. The height needs to be about 1 meter to 1.2 meters. I am not too sure about the kind of fence I need, I would need some advice on which kind would be best. The fence is required in order to keep my small dog away from an access gate. We have a room built against a hill, which means that there is soil directly against half the height of one wall. When it rains, water in the soil seeps down and through the wall, damaging the carpet and the paintwork in the room. What is needed is comprehensive damp-proofing along the length of the wall, and down to foundation level.
We have a french drain that overflows with all the rain. Had it pumped out but didn’t help. Can connect to main sewerage system but have to pump it upwards. We would like to look at other options..maybe install a watertank that can collect the water from the washing machine and water used in doggy parlour in flat at the back of the house.
