7 things to consider when building a carport
Before building a carport, you need to know what you want and what you can afford.
I would like a black metal frame gate with fibre cement panels that go vertically that are also black. Attached is an image for the gate. Note that you cannot see through the gate and that is how I would like it. The gate needs to be 3.5 meters wide and 2 metres tall. I would like the gate to come with all the security measures needed to make sure someone does not try break in.
The carport needs to come from the side of the house which is about 1 meter in width, and to the way to the front of house which is about 6x6m if I'm not mistaken. I would like a quote I'm not sure what the correct measurements are at this stage. We would also like carport roof that is solid for all weather conditions especially rain, but brings in natural sunlight to the home still. Please advise. Thank you
I would like a shade carport for two cars that can be attached to the outside of my double garage. There can be no implanting with concrete due to Estate rules in order to term the port as a temporary structure. My wooden garden gate has perished and has always been too heavy for its frame. It is in direct sunlight all day and exposed to rain so I need advice on material. I think the frame is still ok, but may need to be reinforced into the wall. The dims of the gate itself are 80cm x cm. Photos attached. I can use the existing lock but the slot would need to be cut out. I can use the existing handles. The colour is a dark brown according to estate colours. It does not need to be completely solid; it can be slotted. I can stain it providing I am given advice as to which primer and stain should be used, dependant on material of the gate. The finished item would need to be hung/lock fitted. I am not looking for a high-end product, but certainly one that would last.
Barbed wire (in rolls) to be affixed/secured to retaining structure ''wall'' in order to prevent intruders climbing retaining structure and gaining access to the property. So lengths of razor wire to be affixed to retaining structure/wall in order to prevent intruders from climbing up the structure/wall. Also required in possibly a new fence will razor wire for a small section adjacent to the retaining structure/wall.
This job is to replace an existing wooden gate that has perished. Pictures are attached. Measurements of the gate itself are 79.5cm x cm to the frame. The frame needs to be replaced too. I would need the existing handle and lock need to be transferred onto the new gate and the whole gate and frame installed. The gate need not be identical to the existing one.

Pedestrian gate: 1.2 m wide x 1.8 m high. 40 x 40 x 2 mm 3.5.3. Painting: Clean surface and allow to dry completely. Remove all Flux, Rust, Grease and loose material before painting. All joints must be smoothed. Apply one coat Primer for steel (red oxide) and apply one coat universal undercoat and one coat Gloss Enamel (Traffic Green as specified by the LPDE) No brush painting. 3.5.4. The School has perimeter of metres N.B. the tenderer must price for Installation Labour Only, Including the concrete footing; the fence will be supplied by the fabricators.

Hello, I'd like a quotation to install an electric fence on my property. We're sub-dividing a plot in Farmall, so there is an existing perimeter fence, but we'd like to define a new boundary within that with approximately ~m of 18 strand fence connected to the existing boundary.
