When do I need a building permit in South Africa?
In South Africa, building applications for the construction of property and land use are highly regulated.
Wish to extend the bathroom outward toward the exterior garden. The extension will require: remove current exterior wall, build new foundation, build new exterior wall, extend roof, run new plumbing. Need a plan drawn up & submitted to the council. Already have an existing plan for the current structure

Hi, we are looking at doing renovations in our new home and need an estimate of what it would cost to draw up new plans. We have an extended facility with the bank and they require plans, even if all structural changes are internal. We have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom and 1.5 living rooms. A single garage etc. I have attached our current house plans. We are planning on knocking out the kitchen wall to open up the area into an open plan. We also want to knock out the wall between the dining room and steps leading down to the living room. We have already received confirmation that none of the walls are bearing walls. Please advise what the estimate cost would be to draw up new plans. Thank you,

We are building a community Conference/ceremony hall with with a medium sized pond and lawn for outside seating area. Associated with the conference building is a double story accommodation housing of 25 rooms in top and bottom floors totalling 50 rooms. With an outside parking lot fitting at least 20 cars.
Well I have a rough sketch that I would like to present or send to you where I will first will have to start with a single garage with a back bedroom and a bathroom. The plan must be designed with an intention to extend later. I'm unable to give the specific size because I need a property plan to put my vision on paper then send it to the necessary places for approval. There's a lot of land at the house so I want a basement for storage as well as and underground pathway leading to a 3 or 4 story block of flats with a basement as well. However I need a property planner to plan and put it on paper as well as permission as to how high I can build the flats.
