How long does an architectural project typically last?
Let's go over the timeline for the construction of a new family home.
We are currently in Port Elizabeth but we are moving to Bloemfontein soon. The house (approx. 3 bedrooms, a lounge, living room, kitchen) needs to be spring cleaned from top to bottom before we move in. I would like to get some quotes and will be in contact with regards to our timeline and when we will be moving.
I need a modern, classy house. I could stay in something that wouldn't feel over 5-10 years outdated and out. Lots of renewable energy like solar power. Lots of natural light. Must have 3-4 bedrooms 3-4 bathrooms Open plan kitchen and dining for 10-12 guests Open patio to braai and entertain guests
Looking to build a two-bedroom, two-bathroom house in an estate. Looking at 25sqm per bedroom, inclusive of a bathroom on each bedroom, and 75sqm for the living area, consisting of lounge, kitchen, dining room. Total house size to be sqm. Hoping to have a design that allows for us to build an extra two bedrooms in the future. You can have a look at Romansbaai Beach & Fynbos Estate online for an idea of the style of house.
I need a cleaning person to come in on a Monday, Wednesday & Friday. I usually have a schedule worked out for what needs to be cleaned on what day, see it as follows. Mon: top part of the house, Wed: bottom part of the house, Fri: top part again. It is a double story house, not completely sure about the dimensions/size. I will also be needing laundry and ironing, but not every time the person comes to clean, on a lesser basis when requested.
This is a commercial building that needs to be gutted and demolished completely on the inside and new furnishes need to be done including flooring on the whole of the inside and outside areas. This project has a strict timeline and I am requesting that I am able to get access to the building from the 1st of April and I am expecting hand-over by the end of April. Building is approx. sqm in size. I am also going to need the builder to be able to share their contacts to help with the finishes like windows, doors, etc.
I recently had a water break in a wall at my house which since been repaired. however the hole and resultant damage has not. What I need is a builder to repair and plaster the hole, someone to paint the wall and someone to repair and replace a water damaged cupboards and tiles. The hole is small and needs about 10-12 bricks on one side and a patch of about mmxmm on the other (it's a cavity wall). The cupboards are 3x double floor cupboards in Wenge wrap but all 6 doors are not damages, so it's just the carcass that needs replacing. The tiles are about 5-6m of vertical tiles mounted against the foot of the cupboard and possibly 20 or more square meters of floor tiles. the paint could also be around 10 square meters.
Need to close up 2 balconies, 1 large, 1 small, extend the small one to add en suite bathroom. Extend large patio and close up with stacking doors. Also close up small patio. Add bay window above front door (existing slab). I am still in the planning stage and trying to get quotes so please email or Whatsapp. Plans have only just been submitted to Council so it will be a while before final approval.

Build in three sections. Main Home, section 1; office and guest room, section 2; and Granny Flat, section 3. Want to build Main Home (section 1) now with rest later as funds become available. Need to build within a budget and will have to negotiate with builder what we can do with the funds we have available. Phase 1 plan attached that we need quote on.
