One of my friends recommended me your Procompare site. I needed a swing gate for my driveway at home and at another weekend property. It is quite an investment, so i wanted to make the best choice. I must say i am very satisfied with the choice of the contractor -Mr.Frank and his team, who installed my both swing gates. He respected the due date, the price was reasonable and everything else was as agreed.
The provider for my swing gate in my backyard gave me a 5 years guarantee on the gate and I am very satisfied with the result. Also, the gate matches my other gates and fences which I had made before so you can not even see the difference. It looks great. The door is automatically opening and looks exactly as I wanted. You helped me save my time by finding me this group of professionals. I highly recommend your services to anyone.
Thank you, Procompare. I found someone for installation of the swing gates i needed for my driveway, and they offered the best customer service, they gave me great advice and they kept on informing me about the process of their work and were very kind and helpful.
Before deciding on a gate, you should think about the style of your home exterior, about the type of the door that will suit you best (sliding or swing gates), about the property size (so you can choose the right size), about maintenance you are willing to do and, lastly, about your budget.
It is usual for gates to open inwards. In some cases, it is even illegal for gates to open outwards, into public property.
Swing gates usually work more quietly and have less repair issues because there are not as many moving parts as are found in slide gates. However, sliding gates will save you much more space inside or outside the driveway. The dual swing gates open like a set of french doors. Since the length of the open gate is cut in half, it is often times easier to have this type of gate for residential driveways.
Approx 4m wide opening. Currently metal swing gates (gate rusty & motors both non functional) Looking for quotes on the following: 1. Replace current swing gates and motors with new metal / PVC /something. Would prefer a more modern design and would prefer more privacy / half half solid and slats. Also would prefer maintenance free option (don't want rust or to have to repaint). 2. Replace gate with sliding gate and sliding gate motor - is it even possible on our driveway - please get them to pop past and look
We share a driveway with our neighbors. We were thinking of having two complete systems. Each system will have its own intercom (with camera) and one side of the two sided swing gate. The gates will need to fit well together. There is a long driveway and the gate would be far away from each of the two houses.
I have old metal gates that my late dad put in years ago. I had palisades put in to heighten the walls, to make the property more secure. Now I need the gates heightened by joining them to a metal base that must be made. I will accept advice on best method and materials to use. I also want to convert these gates from swing gates to folding sliding gates placed onto a metal rail. I attach a rough schematic. I attach pictures taken of the palisade installation. It can be see that the gates need a base to be made to heighten per schematic attached. Please advise.
I am wanting to replacing my driveway sliding gate with a new metal wood clad one. The concrete driveway may need some cutting in as the existing system is too high and our vehicle struggles to get over it. Added to the new sliding gate, an additional fence panel will be needed to match which will be attached between the roof structure and the garage wall (seen in photos).
I have a parking that through the garage door as indicated on the attachment. My parking does not have a roof top. So what I want is to put up a roof and then burglar bars gate to secure my vehicle as I feel it is not very secure by only having the current garage door without a roof. The burglar gate will be installed inside this gate.
