The company your site recommended did a professional job with my wooden gate. It is stylish, modern and the installation was even quicker than I expected. I saved time and money thanks to your site.
I got a couple of offers from procompare site when I needed a new wooden gate. I decided on a provider which was available to start working immediately. I can only say good things about Mr. Robin. I am very satisfied. The gates as well as the fence they made look very nice.
I would like to thank procompare. It made my choice of provider of a wooden gate so much easier. I saved a ton of time. The provider I chose gave me great advice about the right type of wood to be the most durable for the weather conditions we have in our area. Since this type of wood could also be colored, I got the exact style and looks of the driveway wooden gate I wanted to. The price was also reasonable, much cheaper than the providers I managed to find on my own. Procompare, I give you 5 stars.
Before deciding on a gate, you should think about the style of your home exterior, about the type of the door that will suit you best (sliding or swing gates), about the property size (so you can choose the right size), about maintenance you are willing to do and, lastly, about your budget.
The driveway gate should be a little wider than your driveway entrance. Use a tape measure, and measure your driveway. Use a smaller single gate for a straight driveway. Use a wider double gate if you have curves on your driveway.
It is usual for gates to open inwards. In some cases, it is even illegal for gates to open outwards, into public property.
When choosing a material for your home gates, take into consideration appearance, difficulty of maintenance, security and of course price of the gates. Wooden gates are beautiful, but more difficult to maintain than say steel or metal gates. For mainly security reasons, choose palisade gates.
Make sure your gates are clean of dirt and possible mold. Most gates are given a layer of protection but it can erode in time due to weather and UV rays, so will need to be replenished at regular intervals. We recommend you repaint your gates every few years and apply protective oil.
I need custom pedestrian gates made to replace wooden gates which are failing due to age. The main house is wood based so 2 gates need to be made with a post cemented on that side to ensure privacy. So sheet non rust metal outside cover is likely the best means. Also I need gates painted black. I also need one gate at the front of the house that has entrances. I want a padlock on each gate to secure the property when no tenants are occupying the property.
This job is to replace an existing wooden gate that has perished. Pictures are attached. Measurements of the gate itself are 79.5cm x cm to the frame. The frame needs to be replaced too. I would need the existing handle and lock need to be transferred onto the new gate and the whole gate and frame installed. The gate need not be identical to the existing one.
Hi, I need to replace my wooden gate that encloses my courtyard. It’s a single size / door size and I need a new lock and bolt added to it, extra secure. I also have an interior door that needs to be replaced or repaired - the locking mechanism doesn’t work anymore. I urgently need assistance. Thanks
Hi there, Could you please provide a quote for installation of 2 x Wood infill pedestrian gates. Pref galvanized steel frame. Would it also be possible to provide 2 quotes, one for use of Wood and one for use of Nutec and which do you recommend? Please include pictures of proposal. Slats to be narrow so that one cannot easily see through the gate. Currently we have wooden doors and frames fitted at the entrances which are rotting away as they are exposed to the elements daily. I think they are standard size, but I have added the measurements/pictures. If you could please make out quote to below details as it is for a body corporate. Name: Address: c/o Trafalgar Property Management, Maitland I also prefer email to calls due to high spam, but leave a message if I don't answer my cell.
I am wanting to replacing my driveway sliding gate with a new metal wood clad one. The concrete driveway may need some cutting in as the existing system is too high and our vehicle struggles to get over it. Added to the new sliding gate, an additional fence panel will be needed to match which will be attached between the roof structure and the garage wall (seen in photos).
I have a parking that through the garage door as indicated on the attachment. My parking does not have a roof top. So what I want is to put up a roof and then burglar bars gate to secure my vehicle as I feel it is not very secure by only having the current garage door without a roof. The burglar gate will be installed inside this gate.
I would like to get a quotation for installing a sliding driveway gate. I am not in a hurry therefore I would like the Pro's advice regarding the material and the quality if possible I would really appreciate it first to get pictures together with prices. Please feel free to contact me for more info and on how to go about from here forward.
I am in a process of building a house so I want to know the prices for each and everything that will be needed as I am building this house from my own pocket. I need to know how much will it cost to install and supply the driveway gate. I would really appreciate it if you attach pictures of the gates together with the quote.
I need a quote for the supply plus the installation of the following door sizes: 1. 2.*2.m 2. 0.*2.m 3. 0.*2.m 4. 0.*2. I need a breakdown of each and every door listed above i.e. ( size, labour for the installation and then material). Please feel free to contact me for more info.
