Besides giving it a yearly check-up by a professional, you should make sure to keep your outside unit clean of leaves and dirt and make sure that air grills are never blocked. You can also take care of your AC to make sure the room is not overheating - you can use blinds to keep the heat out and use programmable thermostats to reduce air conditioning when it is not needed
You should check your AC at least once a year, usually in the spring. Regular preventive service can extend the life of your unit.
Before you call us, check the basics: test the batteries in your thermostat, check for a tripped breaker or blown fuse, change your air filter, make sure the system is set to cool, and that the setting is at least three degrees below current room temperature.

Hi - I have just taken occupation of an apartment in Disa Park (Vredehoek) there are 2 Mclaren A/C units. I would like to have them serviced. One of the two doesn't seem to be cooling down to the selected temp. There is only one remote and i would like to know if its possible to purchase another remote. hi there. i rent an office in a small park. there is currently a HISUPER aircon fitted into my office but it does not have a remote. and therefore i am not sure if it works or not. i need a new remote for it and then possibly to have it repaired if it is not working. budget is a concern as i need to pay this myself. not the landlord. so only looking for a quote for now. thank you

My father bought a Supreme Air Conditioner more than 20 years ago and it is still working quite well but the box, which is outside on the apartment's balcony, has a lot of rust which may soon start affecting the aircon's functioning.
