Everything was done professionally. Their attitude towards us as clients is friendly and fair. They will be doing our doors, too.
We got our double glazed windows very quickly. I was surprised. I submitted a request and 2 weeks later, we already have new windows in our apartment. Thanks!
They respected the deadline and were very flexible! Our new double glazed windows look modern and fancy :)
The best windows for hot and humid climates are ones that are energy efficient. Models that are improperly sealed can cause heat and humidity to seep in, resulting in a rise in temperature inside your home, which will cause your air conditioner to work twice as hard to keep you cool. It can also create moisture issues that can lead to the growth of dangerous substances, such as mold. When selecting the right windows for hot humid climates, start by looking at the type of frame and glass you will use. Wood frames might cost a little more, but they are also very efficient.
Triple-pane windows are more expensive and heavier, but they offer more thermal protection, and the added cost will likely be recouped in energy savings. You will certainly be more comfortable, and reduce the potential for moisture damage due to condensation on windows.
Window frames have become better insulated and more durable during the last years, air seals are better, and gas-filled cavities between double and even triple panes are the norm. As long as you choose good quality windows, all PVC, aluminium and wood windows are a good option.
Double glazing is made up of 2 separate panes of glass with a space in between. Most often, the gap between each pane of glass is filled with argon, an inert gas that is a poor conductor of heat. When all these components are put together, the glass combined with the argon-filled space creates a barrier between the outside and inside, preventing droughts and making your home more thermally efficient.

Hi there I'm looking to replace my traditional windows in two rooms in our home with double glazed. I'm based in Radiokop, Jo'burg. The dimms are: cm (w) x cm (h) INSIDE of that are three smaller windows: Left - 46cm (w) x Centre - 54cm (w) Right - 46cm (w) Obviously those could be replaced by whatever is the best option in your opinion, but would still need to have some opening windows there. Thanks Chris

Good day, I trust you are well, Please refer to the attached. Can you please send me one quote on standard glass and one quote on standard double glazing. The Aluminum should be matte charcoal aluminum and where I indicated on the sheet, there should be burglar bar added. Please note that there have been some changes made to the plan. The correct product is indicated on the spread sheet. (you can only refer to the list when doing the quotes). D03 – is a door with no windows. D06 & D07 – the door doesn’t have the aluminum slides on the bottom anymore, it should be glass. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

40 years ago we built a new office block but using wooden bay windows from an old Parktown mining magnate's house which was being demolished. At the time we restored the wood and repaired all the lead glass windows, however, over the years, the treatment we have been using has obviously not been any good and they are now in desperate need of repair or replacement. Please call me to discuss the problem and give us idea on the practicality of repairing or replacing these windows and possible costs. This involves a bay window frame, 8 windows and 8 fanlights. Thank you
I have a degrees sea view on my patio and I do not want to block the ocean views at all. I would therefore like folding windows in the front of the patio and sliding windows on the side. I am not sure exactly how many windows I will need as I am not sure about the sizes of the windows - I would need someone to advise me on that.
We need emergency services. We have a two story home and a window on the 2nd story has completely blown out. It is supposed to rain today and we need to get this boarded up on the outside and inside of the frame and replaced before it rains. The window is located in the front of the house so if it rains, it will be pouring into the house. This is an emergency!!
