I want to build a small modern house for personal use. The design is a 1-bedroom unit with an en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet, double basin), and an open-plan kitchen and living room. We have a 1 bedroom granny flat on the property that needs a complete remodel. At present the bathroom is attached to the kitchen. I would like to make the kitchen into the bedroom and turn the current bedroom into the kitchen. A portion of the wall between the current bedroom and the lounge, needs to be taken out so that the new kitchen will be open plan with the lounge. We are in desperate need of someone to take on a quick dry wall job for us before 10am this Saturday (1 August). We need two set up two changing rooms that will be joined to a wall (so we essentially only need two dry wall panels) that can fit up against the wall and then just make a little arch to join the door. Looking for a contractor with experience building in a suburban setting. I require full financial breakdown of the logistic process after obtaining the land to build on. There is a carport where cars park in a tanden order to accommodate about 6 cars. The carport will need to be removed, especially the poles on the sides where the structure is suspended on. The external garage door needs to be removed and 2 seperate garage doors added so that each household the main and the back dwelling has their own private entrance. With the removal of the carport, it should accommodate everyone with a dry wall/partition running down the middle of the car port to split the 2 houses. Plans are required to implement all these changes as the property will be subdivided but the main focus is the plans for the parking.
