I submitted an authorization application to home affairs late . i was told it was rejected this year, but they have not been able to give me the official rejection letter. The immigration officer in charge of my case finally told me he can give me Notice to Leave form and i can use it to appeal as i have indicated that i want to appeal. He later called back to tell me to wait till next week tuesday when his superior gets back from leave.

A young Zimbabwian woman who is currently working for a family member has overstayed her 3 months viza by approx 10 months (she is helping to support her mother and siblings back home in Zim. We have only recently discovered this as on questioning her status in the beginning she answered that she was in the country legally but it could of been a problem on our part that we misunderstood what she had said as she has a poor command of English.) How do we go about rectifying the problem with her overstay and also applying for a working permit for her.

I am a South African citizen (Christian) and want to get married to a Palestinian citizen(Muslim). As it is very dufficult to find an Imam who will do an interfaith wedding, we are planning to do an online Nikah ceremony. The wedding will then be registered in Utah, USA, to get an Apostilled marriage certificate. We then want to use this marriage certificate to apply for a spousal visa in South Africa. Should we explain in the application how the wedding was done and will DHA accept this?
we are a family of 4 moving from London to SA. I am a South African citizen. my wife and kids are British. The kids will go to school in Stellenbosch and need study visas. We plan to arrive start of Jan . I tried to apply for study visas from London, but there is not enough time, so I am planning to apply for study visas from South Africa once we have landed. However I am not sure if that is possible or if you must do it before you arrive in SA.

A brief about ourselves, we have been together for the past five years but we we only did our tradition ceremony last year in June. Where we received a letter from the chief confirming our lobola payment ceremony. We would like to start the process next year early January.
