Need to compare cost of repainting and using mosaic tiles around the edge , or pool liner for the whole pool . Size of pool : 4m x 8m x 2m .
Pool has been attempted to be fixed by multiple people. After a few months, I would lose water and we would discover a crack at the bottom of the pool on the shallow side. The people who fixed it previously then came back and advised me that my pool has a sink hole. So they dug up the pool and ever since then, they never came back. We would like a 3m x 6m pool, with a 1,5m depth all ends. We are looking at Marbelite, as we'd like a "walk-in" ramp with rail along one side of the pool for my mom to enter the pool without steps. There should still be steps on one end for everyone else. Please make the ramp 0,5m wide, and the pool 2,5m wide. The ramp must run smoothly from the surface. I have an existing in-ground swimming pool in Gallo Manor, Sandton, Johannesburg, approximately 65, litres. The pool is freeform and currently has a marblite finish. I would like to resurface the pool and assess/replace the existing pool plumbing/pipes where necessary. I would particularly like the contractor to inspect the suction, return and cleaner lines for leaks, deterioration or inadequate flow and advise whether they should be replaced. The existing pool shape and structure should remain unchanged. The current surface has some staining/discolouration and signs of ageing, particularly around the steps and shallow areas. Please assess the pool before quoting and provide a detailed quotation separating surface preparation, repairs, resurfacing materials, plumbing/pipes, fittings and labour. Please also provide recommendations and pricing for marblite, fibreglass/resin and pool coating/painting, including expected lifespan and warranty. I would like the plumbing work to be completed properly before the final resurfacing so that the pool does not need to be opened again later.
pool approx 10 x 4 to be checked and a few small cracks to be fixed re marbleited, redo all piping from pump box to wier, inputs, etc, redo weir box as old and needs to be updated, redo existing light connection, relay the paving / replace paving as required around the pool . Pool is empty at this stage.
Hi, I have a problem with the pool, the creepy runs for a short time and then stops running when the pressure is low. When u switch the motor off and then on it again, the creepy works for a short time and then when pressure drops, the creepy stops. Sand and oring has been changed . From motor to weir is approx 4m and its a paved area
