Is it cheaper to build or buy a house in South Africa in 2025?
The short answer is that it is cheaper to buy an existing house in South Africa but every year less so.
I was sold out by a union that represented me on march this year.i was unfairly dismissed with the company I worked for fifteen years.the union promised to forward the matter to bargaining council.i found out later that there was no such.and bargaining council withdraw the case because it was late.and there was no valid reason why the case was late .I find myself being oppressed by my company and the union I paid for fifteen years.
I was paid short on my salary I queried with my manager and she swore at me I proceeded to ask the other manager she was new to our unit she then claimed my money was not paid short but that the previous manager did not do the payroll system correctly and furthermore I owe the company 77 hours which will be deducted from my next salary. She failed to inform me that she detected errors on the payroll system and just said I was paid in advance for shifts I didn't work yet I didn't give consent to any deductions and none of that information was disclosed to me when I started working that I was being paid in advance. I was employed on a month to month contract basis and my contract expired on August 31st. I went into work on the 1st of September and did not sign a new contract I did not return to work again I resigned. I made a case at my local ccma and the company notified me they are objecting to arbitration please advise
Good day; My brief is as follows; it was on 24th August I forgot my passport in my friend's car on our way home from a stadium for soccer match. The same night my friend was traveling cross boarder. At the boarder post from where he went they find him with my passport upon vehicle search. He called me about the matter and I drove to boarder for statement and affidavit but the official told me that they hold the passport for investigation, 1 week later the discharged him with a fine and forfeited my passport. But my passport was not involved in any kind of offense, I simply forgot it in the car. Please I don't know any how to retrieve my passport back. I am a Malawian national.

Electrical: New down light points = 18 led, double plugs = 6, single plugs 4x2 = 4, and 2 outside lights points 9. New water main connection +/- 60m with new pressure valve 10. All new hot and cold-water points, 16 in total 11. Move L Geyser to the outside of house and reroute hot and cold-water supply. 12. Total floor area that needs to be tiled is 11 squares; Wall tiles area is +/- 11 squares. 13. 2nd bathroom has a semi frameless shower, 1 new toilet, 1 new basin. 14. 2 new door frames with doors needs to be build in, with a double sliding door (doors open away from each other) bedroom 2 doorway. 15. All interior walls need to have cracks filled and prep for paint, walls was painted with oil paint, so old walls need to be painted with universal undercoat (2 layers) and 2 layers of Plascon double velvet. Total paintable area (interior) is squares. 16. ‘n new Sewer line needs to be installed total distance is 35 meters, and the old septic tank needs to be excavated and removed. 17. And lastly I need 1m wide paving at entrance around the house – total paving area = 20 squares (bevelled grey) Exterior work will be compiled and completed after interior work is done. So please keep in mind I have all aluminium door and windows, as well as all San ware and tiles.
