I would like to formally raise my concerns regarding my recent dismissal from Teleperformance on the grounds of insubordination. My concerns began with ongoing payroll issues that were not adequately addressed. I did not receive my payslips for June, July, and August on time, and all three payslips were only provided to me at a later stage. This made it difficult for me to verify the accuracy of my salary payments. I was on approved leave from 26 June until 10 July. Upon returning to work, I noticed that my July salary did not align with my understanding of my basic salary, particularly considering that I had worked for approximately two weeks during that month. In August, I also observed a significant deduction reflected as unpaid leave. As I had leave days available, I was concerned about the deductions and sought clarification. I raised these concerns with my Team Leader on several occasions. However, I was repeatedly informed that the salary calculations were accurate, and no further explanation or investigation was provided. Due to the lack of resolution, I escalated the matter to the Operations Manager. During this discussion, I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that the focus shifted to my attendance record and previous sick leave rather than addressing the payroll discrepancies I had raised. As the unresolved salary issues were causing me significant stress and financial hardship, I expressed my frustration and stated that it was difficult for me to perform at my best while these concerns remained unresolved. Following this, a grievance alleging insubordination was initiated against me, and I was required to attend a disciplinary hearing. During the hearing, both parties presented their statements. At the conclusion of the hearing, I was informed that feedback would be provided within 48 hours. However, I did not receive a response within that timeframe and only received feedback more than five days later, when I was informed that I had been found guilty of insubordination. During the process, I was asked how important my job was to me if I were given a second chance. I explained that I am the primary breadwinner for my family, supporting my children as well as my mother in the Eastern Cape. I understood that the Director had referred the matter back to Operations Management for consideration regarding a second chance. Despite this, I was subsequently dismissed. Following my dismissal, I received my final salary payment for September but once again did not receive a payslip. Furthermore, I have not received a full explanation or resolution regarding the salary discrepancies and deductions that initially led me to raise my concerns. I respectfully request a full investigation into the payroll issues I reported, including the salary calculations, leave deductions, and the non-receipt of payslips, as well as a review of the circumstances surrounding my dismissal

An enployee reviewed my salary and increased it by 20%. This came with a new unilateral condition of my employment contract, a restraint of trade , which was not part of my initial contract of employment. However, i opened a room for myself and the employer to engage on this mater, as i questioned the applicability of this condition to me, the employer. The employer decided to send send two separate documents, a salary review document and a non-solicitation and confidentiality agreement. I want to challenge the applicability of this non-solicitation and confidentiality agreement and review it so that i can formulate a legal response
I am assisting my father with the administration of the estate of my late mother. My father is a SASSA old-age pensioner and the sole heir to my late mother's 50% share of the family home. The property was owned jointly by my parents, who were married in community of property. There is no bond registered over the property, and the property is not being sold. We have been advised that the deceased's share of the property may be transferred to my father by way of a Section 45(1) transfer/endorsement arising from the deceased estate. The total value of the property is estimated at R2 .
