I want to build on top of a 66sqm(11 x 6m) existing house. It's a single block house/non cavity. Built with x mm blocks.It's a flat roof with roof beams mm apart from each other.Foundation is x mm deep. I planned it, the building in to be taken further as a double storey in future. I would like to save the roof sheets to keep a flat roof for the double storey. This would be a separate house on top with all its own bathroom 2/3 rooms. Second storey floor I want to try wood floor between bottom and top house. Also make it water tight in the water area eg bathroom and kitchen. Also soundproof floor.
