I have a part of my driveway paving that is lifting because of the roots of the neighbour's tree. I have applied for maintenance already at court and have an upcoming court date on 11 January. Last time I went to court in October the maintenance officer just dismissed the case based on the fact that I'm getting rental income and my husband is paying the bond. He was saying I can't apply for maintenance I must wait for my husband to first stop paying the bond before I can apply. I then complained to the court manager and they reinstated the case today and gave me a new court date
I was unfairly dismissed, but then I won the case at CCMA, and I was reinstated with all previous benefits. But now they're giving me a new contract, saying I'm a new employee, and I started on the 1st of October , yet my old contract says I started on the 1st of December . They wan me to go and do entry medicals. They want me back to probation
