I'm in a tricky situation and could really use some advice on how to move forward. About a year ago, my divorce was finalized. Before that, my ex-wife and I were living in a house we rented from my mother. The house is still in my mother's name, but now my ex-wife won't leave, even though she has her own place and family to go to. We're hoping to sell the house so we can use the money to buy my mom a place in a retirement home. Any advice on the best way to handle this would be much appreciated.
I am currently in the middle of a contested divorce that has unfortunately been dragging on since March . I already have legal representation, but I am not satisfied with the service provided there has been a lack of communication, several delays, and ongoing uncertainty about the progress of my case. To date, a settlement agreement has been drafted, and I was advised that it had been shared with the other party. However, I have received no further feedback from my current attorney regarding whether the settlement was accepted, or if a court date is required to proceed further. I have had to do all the follow-up myself, and despite repeated requests for clarity, no proper updates have been provided. At this point, I am exploring the option of appointing a new attorney who can assist in moving this matter forward with urgency. Please note the following: No assets Only debt and retirement savings to discuss Children involved (19 and 12 years old both studying) No support from the father since i moved out at the end of November

This matter started with a mob attack the 4 months later handed myself over to police again, was made to sign papers and take fingerprints and told im going to court no information of having to get legal representation or anything then i was subsequently told after hours in a magistrates holding cell thaf i wont be appearing instead to wait for a call, its been over a year now wait and i am unemployed i dont have to state the destitution i am currently under.
Yes, We did everything with the union from bargaining council to arbitration now we facing a challenge where the union are now starting dragging their legs.
