I need to know what my legal rights are, after the house I have bought after my divorce, Had to be registered on my eldest son's name, due to the fact that I was unemployed at the time, and could not qualify for a bond in person. After about 8 years, he has sold the house, and know has bought another house registeted on his, and my second son's names. The divorce setlement stated that the money from the house that my ex husband had to sell was to be devided between both of us, but then he arranged that I could only get 25% of the money, and that the other 25% should be put aside for our 2 adult children both over 18 years old, for further studies. How do I get a rates certificate, when the full amount outstanding has been paid, and yet someone in the rates department, keeps adding more fees and changes the rules.
