Start up company (since March ) with business less than R40 to date. Company due to do tax returns. Not VAT registered. There is no set monthly business income (supply and delivery RFQ dependent), business is as and when necessary. No employees, No assets (except personal car used for delivery), No stock kept. It is just to do tax return. I can supply the costs of the 3 instances of business (sales) for reference. I would need proper book keeping when I have more regular business. A copy of a Tax Compliance Status Pin, printed from the South African Revenue Service (SARS) website, must accompany the bid documents. The onus is on the bidder to ensure that their tax matters with SARS are in order. 2. In the case of a Consortium/Joint Venture every member must submit a separate Tax Compliance Status Pin, printed from the SARS website, with the bid documents. 3. If a bid is not supported by a Tax Compliance Status Pin as an attachment to the bid documents, the Municipality reserves the right to obtain such documents after the closing date to verify that the bidder’s tax matters are in order. If no such document can be obtained within a period as specified by the Municipality, the bid will be disqualified. 4. The Tax Compliance Status Pin will be verified by the Municipality on the SARS website. In order to further evaluate your tender, it would be appreciated if you could please furnish us the following: A valid tax compliance status pin showing that your company’s tax matters are in order. (Your current status shows non-compliant in respect of either registration, filing and/or payment responsibilities. The requested document should reach us by no later than Monday, 11 March at 10:00 OR at your earliest convenience.
