The property I bought from public works, paid on March . I was told that because the purchase price is way less than a million, there's no transfer costs needed. While waiting I then received an email from public works in to say at the time when I made a payment the price had increased so there's a shortfall. To my surprise the shortfall is twice the purchase amount.

Good Afternoon, My aunt’s husband passed away and Absa Bank held the will. They have now decided to renunciate the estate and we await the letter from the master. Please can you advise if you can assist her? She has been to see an attorney but they want to charge her 2.5% to administer the estate. There is no money in the estate and she also does not work. The total value of the estate is about R which is a house and a car basically. The house will have to be sold to cover the outstanding bond as well as the debt that he had. My son and I were renting and he lost his job. Both of us suffer with mental health issues and he lost his because of that. We are now both expecting sassa in August. We explained to our ex landlord the issue and now he wants us to pay back R per week. Sassa is just over per month and we are paying rent per month for an outside room. We won't be able to afford a roof over our heads if we pay him back what he wants. We already rely on friends etc for donations of food. What can we possibly do in this situation?
