My previous employer, refuses to pay me what they owe me. I also used a company fuel cards, which was part of my CTC (R allowance) on 2 occasions they deducted large amounts from my salary claiming I overspend, but they refuse to provide me with the fuel card statements, as I noticed the prior months the usage was R and R which is impossible considering my mileage done was around km . My manager also made my life a living he'll, treated me unfairly, spoke to my colleagues about my personal matters, refused to approve a quote for a new laptop charger as mine was faulty....despite the fact that I said I would pay for it, As a result I wasn't able to use the company laptop for nearly a month. I had a meeting with HR, and we had an informal meeting in Oct , the unfair treatment and discrimination continued, there was a sales conference for invited people only, they went away for 2 days, I was tge ONLY new business sales consultant not invited, she often didn't add the to meeting invitations, and the day I resigned she told me I smell. (Which is not true as per my colleagues, I was so self conscious and upset, I asked a colleague if she had ever smelt an odor on me, as we work in close proximity) I have 19 pages of documented incidents that took place in the 7 months I worked there. After my departure, one of my colleagues, my bosses lapdog, sent me messages asking about my new employment, which I answered truthfully, I later found out she also called my new employer to enquire about my employment status, and then later questioned one of my new employees when they happened to be at the same tender briefing). When they refused to pay me and ignored my emails requesting the fuel card statements and a copy of the fuel card policy, I informed them that I would have no option but to take the matter further. The next day she sends me a formal letter, asking me to to stop contacting their employees, and asking about business matters - This couldn't be further from the truth, I have not contacted her employees, I have all the call logs and messages,which I saves in case something like this happened, the employees, keep contacting me, asking me for work and If they can send me their CV's, which i didnt want to fo as I have a restraint, another keeos calling for help with pricing for quotes she needs to do, and another lady wanted pictures of my dogs puppies. They then called my fiend in and asked her to stop comm7nicating with me....we don't even discuss business, we have better things to do with our private time than to discuss her or the company. It's actually quite creepy the way they keep harassing me despite, having left the company as she wanted. I would like to find out if I have a case and how much it would cost for legal assistance and representation?
This has to do with a housing rental agreement gone wrong. The agents withheld money from the landlord. The landlord ended the mandate with the agent for breach of contract and missing money. My lease with the agent came to an end yesterday (28 Feb ), but I agreed with the owner to stay on one more month. The owner wanted me to stay on for longer but we could not agree to the conditions of the new lease he offered me. He demands i pay the rental directly to him instead of the agents because he is scared the agents keep this money too, and the agents are also demanding that I pay them. In the meantime, considering that the agent has already kept some of the landlord's money, I am very worried that I will never see my deposit again.
recently bght a house and the agent never explained to me about the property having a registered and an uregistered servitudes. The registered servitude is situated where it will pose a structural risk to my property and the Home Owner Association keep on presurising me to agree with the neighbour using the servitude. I need them to register my right to cliam as the owner of the property to hold the user of the servitude liable if later I experience problems with the structure of my house.
Hi, I need advice/assistance with a sectional title dispute. The owner in the unit above me had a major repair done to her bathroom, approximately 2 months ago. The plumbers are not certified and did not offer her a guarantee for the work done (by her admittance last week). On 29 January , I informed the owner upstairs that there was water leaking from her bathroom, into my bathroom. After numerous follow ups from my side, she eventually called the same plumber for a quick repair job. A few days later, the leak started again, but worse. I've been very patient and cooperative, to the point that I even arranged for the Complex's Plumber PLUS an independent (Certified Plumbing and Building) Contractor to assess the damage and quote her for repairs. The water leakage is getting worse, damaging my bathroom tiles, and is spreading to my bedroom ceiling, with the potential of mold growth. This is devaluing my property and causing me immense stress. I have informed her of this, yet she is in no haste to get the repairs done, EVEN AFTER the plumber's assessment (severe water leakage, damage and mold already forming in her own bathroom). I have all the correspondence between myself and the owner, with images. PLEASE HELP ME. What should I do?
I would like to request a consultation regarding a maintenance matter concerning my 18-year-old daughter. Her father and I are divorced. Our daughter has now reached the age of majority, and there is currently disagreement regarding maintenance payments. Her father is financially well-resourced, whereas my financial position is significantly more limited. I recently wrote to him in an attempt to address the situation amicably. He has demanded that I pay a specific amount of maintenance, which I am not in a position to afford. I have, however, calculated an amount that I can reasonably and sustainably contribute. Acting in good faith, I opened a separate bank account in our daughter’s name and paid my contribution directly into her account. He is now insisting that I pay the amount directly to him instead and is attempting to dictate the terms unilaterally. Given our history, this is not the first time we have faced a similar dispute. Previously, after initial demands, the matter ultimately resulted in negotiation. I am not refusing to contribute, but I will also not be bullied into agreeing to an amount I cannot sustain or into arrangements that are not legally appropriate. I would like clarity on the following: My legal obligations toward an 18-year-old child. Whether payment directly into my daughter’s bank account is legally appropriate. Whether he has the legal standing to demand payment to himself. The correct legal process should this dispute escalate.
