Agent presented an OTP, did not explain any of the clauses in the contract besides saying it’s for banks approval for the bond and a legal binding document and nothing else. She gave us 46 pages, showed us where to sign in less than 30 minutes we than left. We were first home buyers, based on this property and unknown costs, we advised them that we can’t proceed than they pull the OTP that clauses we were not even aware of. Agent invited us to the property for signing stated that it’s a lot of pages and she has printed out all the documents. Now we were advised to reconsider or we are now liable to pay R99 .

Need assistance with transfer of title deed granted to great grand parents in the Mpumalanga Daggakraal area around . They had 2 daughters, who are also deceased and their children are the ones who need assistance with the process before they head to Nelspruit if that is necessary. The Pretoria office informed them to go to Nelspruit for the same. There was no will but great grandfather had allocated a section to each daughter and the remaining grandchildren have an indication of the same.

Goodday, I am an Executor of a Deceased Estate for last 5 years. The only asset is a house left to me in the will. All documents were submitted initially to the Masters Office, but there was an outstanding electricity debt. This has been now paid and cleared, yet the Ethekwini Municipality, keeps creating more requests for rates to be paid for in advance and that is preventing the sale of the house, to now cover the initial electricity debt. How do I get a rates certificate, when the full amount outstanding has been paid, and yet someone in the rates department, keeps adding more fees and changes the rules. I was assigned an Attorney in Stanger, who is busy, and I need to follow up and find out what to do. Please let me know if you can assist.
