Hello. I have recently moved into this home with 2 x 5kwh batteries and a 5kva inverter. I do not know what the monthly consumption will be, however, previously in my 2 bed-apartment, I used to pay between R - R depending on the season. I would like a quotation for solar panels with installation, however, I would like to function off grid as much as possible.
I dont need something complicated or expensive. I just need a back up system that I can use to run fridge, laptops, lights, TV and anything lighter. I use gas for cooking and have solar geyser installed. I also don't want contract I need something I can pay off once off and maybe have to deal with maintance of the system

Need a solar system optimised. Installed 3 x single phase luxpower sna from a 3 phase supply. 2 x Dyness Bx 51....... Batteries and 12 solar panels. Need to have the system configured properly so I can monitor true data remotely. Eg. I see that inverters set for lead acid batteries and no comms cables between battery and inverter
Hi I'm upgrading my solar system add only one battery to make them 2 lithium batteries for backup storage. I have mounted the new battery on the wall but need someone who can wire the new fuse A of my slave battery to protect it cos the master battery has its own fuse of A the connect both batteries in parallel configuration
There is one x 5kw Deye inverter in garage only for backup power with 1 x Shoto 5kw battery. The battery will be removed. 1. Add 1 Deye 5Kw inverter exact same model and 4 new Deye 5.1Kw lithium batteries. 12 x W solar panels be provided etc. DB is in garage next to existing inverter. We are drawing about 30 units per day from the municipality - I want to reduce that to zero so I may probably a bit more battery power. I need a quote for a solar installation at my residential property. Im planning on installing 10 panels on my roof, a 5kva inverter, 1x 5kva battery and all additional required - AC/DC combiner boxes etc. Ive gotten the quote already for the comprehensive components - My garage is seperate from my home about 5x meters from the back of my house where the inverter and battery etc must be installed - I also require a valid COC from the electrician whom needs to be listed on the COCT portal for the SSEG registration as well as a valid COC
We would like a hybrid system with minimum use from Mogale City. Our current electricity bill is less than R per month. Our neighbours all run 8KVH systems with various configurations mostly with 2x 5 lithium batteries. All seem to have limitations when the weather is poor, even though some have many panels. We cannot have a period where we are powerless as my daughter and partner work from home and are heavily reliant on the Internet and computers.
