I wanted to request the advice and a quotation. We have damp coming through the concrete floor, and have been advised that the main problem is that the paving around the house is directing rain water towards the house rather than away from it. We would therefore need to reset the paving and possibly consider other aspects of drainage For your urgent consideration.
I would like to build a temple.. basically new structure needs to go up. An old building needs to be demolished and then reset the foundation and put up new walling or pillars/polling. Then ofcourse a roof. I was thinking thatch. Although, out last roof was thatch and it got burnt. Also, I need to know the difference in costs with different roofing structure and pros and cons over time... Im overseeing this and doing some research, please get back to me asap. We have plans for a multi phase product with various building works needed. Phase 1 - Conversion of double garage into a small flatlet (marked gymnasium on the drawing attached) the drawing only indicates requirements to pass the plans, but we would need all the additionals such as kitchen cupboards, BIC in bedroom and plumbing done (we have our own electrician) Phase 2 - Conversion of outbuilding into small bachelor pad (marked storeroom conversion on the drawings). here it would be the same as per the Garage conversion with less tilework but all the Sanware and plumbing included. The plans for this section will likely change a bit, but the general idea is indicated on the drawings. Phase 3 - Newly Built staff quarters. This will be a complete build from foundation to roofing. Due to the slant of the property the unit will likely be build on a platform or dug out to level the ground for building works. Phase 4 - Yard work. there is a tar driveway that needs to be extended into the property with parking bays. there is also 2 precast concrete walls to put up (10m and 18m approximately) as well as an existing parking bay needing renovation. Please could you be so kind as to provide estimates and quotes divided into the phases of the project so we can make decisions on the order of the phases based on cashflow and budgets.
Repair - maintenance. Roof room was built 30 years ago by Adrian Greylling and is generally in very good condition . We have been very happy with room. However the outer layer of the sheets of wooden material used for the walls, is crumbling in small sections - facing into the weather Would like to assess repair before Cape winter

Looking to build a two-bedroom, two-bathroom house in an estate. Looking at 25sqm per bedroom, inclusive of a bathroom on each bedroom, and 75sqm for the living area, consisting of lounge, kitchen, dining room. Total house size to be sqm. This is a commercial building that needs to be gutted and demolished completely on the inside and new furnishes need to be done including flooring on the whole of the inside and outside areas. This project has a strict timeline and I am requesting that I am able to get access to the building from the 1st of April and I am expecting hand-over by the end of April. Building is approx. sqm in size. I am also going to need the builder to be able to share their contacts to help with the finishes like windows, doors, etc.
I recently had a water break in a wall at my house which since been repaired. however the hole and resultant damage has not. What I need is a builder to repair and plaster the hole, someone to paint the wall and someone to repair and replace a water damaged cupboards and tiles. The hole is small and needs about 10-12 bricks on one side and a patch of about mmxmm on the other (it's a cavity wall). The cupboards are 3x double floor cupboards in Wenge wrap but all 6 doors are not damages, so it's just the carcass that needs replacing. The tiles are about 5-6m of vertical tiles mounted against the foot of the cupboard and possibly 20 or more square meters of floor tiles. the paint could also be around 10 square meters.
Need to close up 2 balconies, 1 large, 1 small, extend the small one to add en suite bathroom. Extend large patio and close up with stacking doors. Also close up small patio. Add bay window above front door (existing slab).
