Wallpaper vs. Paint: The pros and cons
Choosing between wallpaper and paint is not always easy. Let's look at advantages and disadvantages of both.
I am the owner of House in Edgemead, Cape town, and I am looking to build a storage unit that will provide additional space for my personal Business needs The storage unit I envision would measure approximately [+/- 50 Square meter] and should be designed to withstand the local weather conditions. Put up shelf in garage above head height to store suitcases Attach latch type lock to garage door that interleads into house Move hinges on 2 cupboard doors on bathroom vanity and re-hang the doors Replace heavy drawer in laundry with a light drawer (or basket drawer) - will require new runners as well. Similar thing in kitchen cupboard under sink. Wire basket drawer keeps falling off runners Small steps required at bottom of alleyway between us and neighbours. Old wooden stairs broke and its very high to have to jump down to get to wash line Some areas of deck around pool have collapsed. Need to be lifted and re-attached. Possibly a few planks might need replacing in a few areas on deck.

We have water pooling in our back yard and front yard after heavy rains. The water stays for about 3 days after each rain due to slow drainage, and is about half a meter deep. We are wanting a quote to see how much it would cost to put in a drainage system, or how best to rectify the pooling. The start date would depend on costs, our budget, ect.
We have a spec sheet of the products required - We require 5 x light posts to be cemented in, primed and painted. n 5 x solar lights to be fitted to the poles. 1 x solar light to be bolted to a wall and two more lights to be attached to a bell tower (traffic circle) with extension / fastening poles
I want to do full renovations on the kitchen and the bedrooms. This includes kitchen cabinetry, flooring, etc. I am currently in Cape Town but will be returning to the property in round about two weeks time and would like to arrange site visits from the 30th of June to discuss and answer any possible questions.
Boundary wall busy collapsing. Need to be broken down and rebuild and a build in braai. My wall in the back corner of my home between my neighbours home and mine is busy falling apart. There is a banana bush in the corner of my plot that is now pushing onto the wall and causing the wall to fall apart. This is a bit of an emergency since my neighbour has small kids and if the wall collapses, it could be a big issue.
Heritage House that needs to be repainted the roof , kitchen to be done at commercial level it about 12 sqm , the floors a wooden deck like floors most needs to be repainted and about 20 sqm needs to be replaced. Verandas of about 80 sqm needs stoep resurfacing. Tiling of another sqm indoors including 3 bathrooms . About 45sqm of roof rafters and zincalum to be replaced and painted green. About sqm of painting. The project will be government funded and from experience it takes about 7 days for invoices to be paid
Approximately sqm to be painted. Top view is sqm but with the pitch 35 degrees and which makes the paintable area approximately sqm. Also need the gutters, facias and downpipes to be painted. The house is double volume. The roof needs to be cleaned, etched, and painted with 2 coats by means of airless spray.
