I have a tiled deck which has developed small cracks. It was built 25 years ago using a tourched on system with a slip sheet and tiled with non glazed vitreous tiles over. 1. Do you offer external wood staining for weather protection. 2. We've had damp proofing to our home in the past, and it's starting to come back, although not as bad. There are a few sections (3 levels) however only a few patches which need damp repair. 3. Painting over after damp proofing 3 separate quotes would be ideal
Hello there I work at Bodhi Khaya Retreat Centre in Gansbaai. We have several incidents with baboons breaking the glass roof of one of our houses at the premises. Note that there is one which was installed by the previous owner (DIY) which is currently not working at all due to its poorly installation. Scrape off all loose paint open all cracks , prime and fill Cut all expansion gaps and fill with Sikeflex Rubberseal all parapets and areas where fine crack appears Repair and use anchoring cement for all major cracks clean gutters and repaint facias Prime and seal all repaired areas Attend to damp problems Paint all wall with 2 coats of plascon wall seal on house and boundary walls Check waterproofing on roof side of parapet Optional extra ( roof special) Rubberseal ridge capping Check for broken tiles Waterproof all joints and valleys ( including garage roof Coat entire roof with 2 coats
