Hi. I am also navigating a maintenance order. There are 4 protection orders pending against my ex husband and his girlfriend against my son and daughter. Criminal case was opened in cape town but the docket was sent to the Free State Fouriesburg where the insistent accused. I needing a attorney who can offer me assistance under a pro Bono case please. I am unemployed and rely on the father of out two children to pay maintenance. He currently pays our rent and data and sends between R to R a month to feed clothe our children. School Fees are not being paid, he stopped paying for my car and the medical aid. His lawyer has stated he can only afford R a month our rent is R on its own. Im representing myself but I feel I am being coerced to drop the criminal case and there are bully tactics. He is allowed to go away on holiday but says he cant pay the school fees or food water elec and gas and transport costs. Our relationship is very volatile. All of this is directly effecting my children. Please can you help me

For many years (about five), my ex-wife has been meeting me halfway to drop off and fetch my two children between Umdloti and Howick since separation in Jan . Since October she has refused, breaking the status quo, attempting to force me to do all traveling, which just isn't possible due to distance and finances. I applied for relief in the Howick magistrate's (children's) court while I had an attorney, who's chosen not to represent me anymore. I need a good family attorney to go through my case, including recent communications and affidavits, to defend my rights as a father. I believe the Children's Court date is set for the 2nd April. My ex-wife has since lodged an application in High Court.
Woman who has been a foster mother for foster child for 13 years. Child is 14 years old. She requested another case manager or social department to work with for the last three years until the child is 18. Magistrate court said she doesn't have the right to request that and if she doesn't work with the specific social worker they will take the child.
