Good morning, My name is , and I urgently need legal assistance and advice regarding the following matter: On 2 July , we purchased a Audi Q7 3.0 TDI V6 Quattro Tiptronic from GoBid. The car was bought with , km on the odometer and without any service record. We subsequently sold the car on 17 January . However, on the day the new buyer purchased the vehicle from us, he was involved in an accident while en route to Cape Town; he struck an antelope, causing damage (I am not sure if he had this repaired). Now, six months after the purchase, the buyer has contacted me with a service history he obtained from the dealer for this car, which indicates that the last service was performed at , km. It is evident that the car's mileage had been rolled back either before or while it was in GoBid's possession. The buyer now wants to return the vehicle and get his money back. How should we handle this, given that the fault did not originate with us and we had no knowledge regarding the actual mileage? Furthermore, he used the vehicle for six months and was involved in an accident with it. We have already contacted GoBid; their terms and conditions protect them, stating that cars are bought "as is" and that there are no warranties on auction vehicles. OK this is what i want to do. 1. We break out 7.5m by 2m and replace the 2x bedroom windows with 3m stacking doors or what ever is the cheapest. The 3rd bedroom that's the small section stay as is. 2. Extend the roof by 2m 3. Do a bathroom ensuite with walkin closet in the second bedroom. 4. 2x long steps outside the 2xbedrooms covering the 7.5m outside the 2x bedrooms. It will flow on the lap pool 5. Break out kitchen wall by 2.5m, so that it can flow effortlessly into the lounge. 6. Break out 4m by the patio for 4m stacking door to flow out on patio. 7. Do an Entertainment area on the patio 4m x4.5m 8. Lap pool of 7.2x 1.5m 9. The lounge existing ceiling to be changed to show exposed beams. Will be using existing beams. Lap pool not that important can do later.
