However, they had just hired a new Programme Manager on the 1st of September in the same week I was terminated. No formal consultation, performance concerns, or disciplinary process preceded my termination. Line manager confirmed it is not due to performance issues on my end but solely based on the budget constraints and his need to reallocate my budget. Not really, except that my Asylum expired on the 17th of January , and when I went there for renewal they gave me a notice to leave the country in 2 weeks and I don't understand why, and I have kids with a South Africa woman so I don't understand why I should leave my family and go back to my country just like that.
