Water seeping through under garage door

I have a wooden garage door and it has a motor but currently it is removed and we are lifting the door by hand and it is very heavy and dangerous. It seems the receiver on the door motor does not react to the remote button that opens or closes the door. The problem is surely with the receiver on the motor as both our remotes do not open or close the specific door. It works perfectly from the fixed open/close controller.
