Installation Potchefstroom – 12km out of town on R53 to Parys Grey Frames + Tinted glass – there will only be 2 Doors with windows hung. still need to decide on the composition of the frames. There is currently 2 x 1.8m Aluminium sliding doors. 1 has a Side light. These door do not function properly anymore, wheels are replaced every 2/3 months and 1 door does not lock properly. We are going to build the 1 opening smaller (the one with the side light), and actual size can only be confirmed later on. • 1.26 x 2. (Side hung door & solid side light) • 1.26 x 2. (Side hung door & 3 top hung window) • 1.86 x 2. (Double - Side hung door) • 1.86 x 2. (1 Side hung door en 3 top hung window)
🔹Size 5,2m wide x 7,2m long x 2,8m high 🔹Attached to house on left 7,2m side, attach to garage on far 5,2m side & sit on poles on right 7,2m side 🔹Open on near 5,2m side - fall on roof towards this side + PVC gutter across this edge + down pipe required on right end of this gutter 🔹left-most 1m width (running full 7,2m parallel to house) to be clear panel/s to admit light against house (at house windows)
Either 1) new carport or 2) Repairs to existing carport 1) New carport: 10m x 3m carport with 3 posts on one side and attached to brick wall (house) on other. 2) Repairs to existing one roofed carport. 2 of the 3 posts and structure/gutter on one side rusted through. Would need to be seen to better quote

DOUBLE VEHICLE STANDARD CARPORT Construction of 6 X 6m carport, MATERIAL: Must be A Grade steel 1. IBR Roof sheeting. 0.5 mm thickness 2. x 50 x 20 x 2 mm Lip channel – Outer steel frame 3. x 50 x 20 x 2 mm Lip channel – Inner frame (where the IBR is resting on to give the carport a nice “fascia” finish) 4. 76 x 76 mm Square tube columns which is concreted securely into the ground. ± deep x x wide. 5. Colour – Heritage Green 8. Size: Height - 2.6 meters to cater for minibuses. Dimensions – Length 6 meters. With 3 meters Number of 76mm square tube columns – 8 9. Flooring – Bevel paving with concrete edge restraint supported by a 40mm river sand bed. Standard grey size of x mm. The subbase (underground) must be compacted before the river sand bed is laid. A light colour river sand grouting must be applied on top before final compacting is done
A sliding door will be installed after the veranda. When the door is installed, the step needs to be adjusted by a builder and the plastering around the frame has been completed. In fact, the veranda needs to be re-done. Note: This is a very small job it does not need building contractors. Please feel free to contact me for more info.
