Dear Sir/Madam I want a steel sliding gate installed across the entrance to a covered stoep. The width of the gap is 5,2m, and the height 3m. In addition to being burglar proof, it needs to be baboon resistant (thus relatively small openings). It is a coastal environment, hence rust proofing is very important. At the moment I do not anticipate automating the gate. Could you please inform me whether you do such custom installations, what the approximate (ball park) cost would be, and what you would recommend to prevent rust of the gate and sliding mechanism? We want to build an outdoor area with steel, brick and glass and would obviously need plans for that. I've attached some google images so you can see what style we want to go for PLUS photos, video and a drawing of what we want to do. That's projetct ONE. Project two is smaller as its a remodelling of our outbuildings, by extending the roof over the wasted space. Attached are also photos and a drawing of what we want to do. I'm not sure my outbuildings configuration is % cause it feels squased but anyway. Something you guys can guide us on when we get to the actual plans. Our plan is to add a pool in the backyard and we would also like to add a living room for our kids, there bedrooms are bedroom 1 and guestroom. They each have their own bathroom that we thought we could move, as its not a nice spot for the bathrooms. We would also like to modernize the outside of our house, the front, and the back, the house needs to be repainted. My husband is worried about the levelling of the pool, also we stay on a farm so our house plans are not at the town council, I don’t even think it exist in Ladismith as our Municipality is out of action.
