Swimming pool cleaning companies offer a range of services, including regular cleaning and maintenance, chemical balancing, filter cleaning, vacuuming, brushing of pool walls and floors, debris removal, and inspection for leaks or equipment malfunctions. Some companies also offer specialized services such as algae treatments, pool opening and closing, and equipment repairs.
During a professional pool cleaning visit, the technician will typically check and balance the water chemistry, clean the pool surface and tiles, vacuum the pool floor, brush the walls, and empty the skimmer and pump baskets. They will also inspect the pool equipment for any issues and make necessary adjustments or recommendations for repairs. A detailed report of the services performed and the pool's condition is usually provided after each visit.
The frequency of professional pool cleaning services depends on factors like pool usage, location, and environmental conditions. Generally, it's recommended to have a professional cleaning service once a week during peak swimming season. In the off-season, bi-weekly or monthly cleanings may suffice to maintain the pool's condition and prevent algae growth and debris buildup.
The cost of professional pool cleaning services can vary based on the size of the pool, the frequency of service, and the specific tasks required. On average, weekly cleaning services might cost between R500 and R1,500 per visit. Additional costs may apply for chemical treatments, equipment repairs, or specialized cleaning services. It's best to request quotes from several companies to compare prices and services offered.

Good day, please can you send me a quote for a weekly maintenance plan. Also include whether there would be any extra charges for chemicals required etc. Also confirm that, apart from the Kreepy, does the company bring its own equipment, such as poles, nets and brushes etc? We employed a company at the beginning of December who said that, apart from a monthly maintenance fee (weekly maintenance), they would also have to quote a seperate once-off fee for (quote) "getting the pool to look right" before they could do weekly maintenance. However, nearly 6 weeks later, although the pool is blue, they have not made it clear, and we have at no stage been able to see the bottom of the pool. Can you please give me more than one quote.
Pool has been attempted to be fixed by multiple people. After a few months, I would lose water and we would discover a crack at the bottom of the pool on the shallow side. The people who fixed it previously then came back and advised me that my pool has a sink hole. So they dug up the pool and ever since then, they never came back. Pool has been left in that condition ever since.
