Hi, I would like consultation on what options I have during these difficult times of financial difficulties. Ideally I would like to reduce my home loan repayment amount and increase the term on it. But my fear is that won't this put me in a disadvantage for future transactions. Surely in these current times restructuring debts, there are many options available without disadvantaging to poor post COVID 19.
I would like to do a debit consolidation
Bad credit score with multiple debts
I am writing to apply for a debt consolidation loan to restructure my current short-term and high-interest credit obligations into a single, affordable repayment. My income is stable at approximately R20, – R21, net per month, however I am currently experiencing cash-flow pressure due to multiple short-term loans with high monthly instalments. I am not seeking additional credit for new spending, but rather to settle existing obligations and stabilise my finances. The loans I am requesting to consolidate are the following: Prime Loans Technology Lendplus Technology Mpowa Finance Fatsa Capfin SA Unifi (Account 1) Unifi (Account 2) Direct Personal Loans These accounts collectively place a heavy monthly burden, and consolidation would allow me to honour my commitments responsibly under one structured repayment. I am not applying for debt review, and I remain committed to meeting my obligations in full. My intention is to improve affordability, reduce risk, and maintain a good repayment record going forward.
Right now I’m financially stretched and trying to stop things from getting worse. I have multiple active loans (over R15, total), with at least one account in arrears, and my credit profile isn’t good. My income isn’t covering everything comfortably. I’ve been looking into taking a R20k–R30k loan to consolidate everything into one payment so I can manage it better.

Having now reviewed my own credit profile in detail, I am struggling to understand how my overall credit profile reflects an unacceptable lending risk, and I would appreciate the opportunity for my application to be assessed beyond an automated credit score. For context, my credit profile reflects the following: I have been permanently employed with my current employer for more than two years, I also have sideline work that generate more income than my permanent job does My net monthly income is approximately R. I have no missed payments on any of my credit accounts. I have no arrears. I have no judgments. I have no defaults. I am not under debt review. My accounts are reported as being in good standing. I am not looking for more debt i need a debt loan to comfortably pay my current payday loans
