I would like to remove the bath and install a walk in show. Replace basin and toilet and retile the floor and walls. Install a vanity and towel rail. There are masonite ceiling boards beneath the roof overhang around the outside of house. The brandering and supports for theses boards is old / rotten / missing and the boards are starting to come loose They need to be reattached and the edges sealed with silicon please. I am happy to Whatsapp pictures of the temporary repairs that I have done if this will help.
The roof was recently painted and the winter has damaged some of the roof sheets. The roof is leaking in 3 areas. I would like the roof to be checked and any issues sorted. I have an old roof. The builder has advised me it is either asbestos or fibre cement. I have some water proofing that needs to be done.
We are looking at renovating our stoep area - 8m x 8m. We’d like to change the roof from a flat to pitched exposed structure and tie it in to our existing house roof structure. We have a storm water inlet (covered by a metal grid) on our driveway/parking area. Due to water-overflow or other reasons, the paving around the water-inlet got damaged (paving is sagging) . it might cause an open hole next to the water inlet and because it is in the middel of a driveway, might cause damage to vehicles. Suspect we need to support the paving with a concrete foundation around the water inlet.
Building a double story on existing house and extending on two sides. All areas under verandas will be fair face or exposed brick work. Perhaps some areas internally as well. This may create a bit of a problem in quoting on plaster work. The quote request excludes the scullery, adjacent garage and flatlet. Already built. I would prefer a LABOUR QUOTE only, for now.
Conducting Kitchen Renovation Project for a maisonette apartment kitchen. Kitchen area is tight and partially below stairwell so will need experienced carpenter to design and fit kitchen that makes the best use of the space.
