Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.
Hi I have a closed in patio under a balcony. I need to have the plans for the house amended to include these changes and then have the plan submitted to the council. There are two side that were closed in, one side is half a wall and a sliding window and the other side had a sliding door added. i would a flat design house with four bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen, toilet,bathroom and garage that can fit two cars. one bedroom need to have its own bathroom shower and toilet.
