We are thinking of replacing or optimizing our roof. It is thatch in Marloth Park. Insurances are not really happy when I asked about putting Harvey Tiles on, but we want to do something to have low maintenance and fire risk. I saw the shingles. What is possible to replace thatch to have no issues with the insurance? Needs to be done in dry months.
The previously applied waterproofing has failed and is no longer effective. • There are visible gaps between the waterproofing membrane and the roof sheeting, allowing rainwater to seep into the roof cavity. • Several roof sheets are loose, enabling wind-driven rain to enter. • Cracked and broken ridge caps were identified, which provide direct water entry points. • Moss growth between the sheeting was observed, indicating water retention and poor drainage
In our sun room three polycarbonate sheets need to be replace. Two sheets approx. 4 meters long and one sheet approx. 5 meters long. Owing to the gale force winds on Friday last week the sheets were damaged. On acceptance of a quote the contractor needs to measure the sheets on site before replacement.
Good Morning. My roof has concrete tiles and I have a major issue in one section of the house as I have water pouring through the light fitting and pooling of water in the center of the ceiling panel (same room). How soon would you be able to send someone out to come and have a look at the damages. Its pouring water all over the carpet in the room and its started smelling. Many thanks JO
Residential tiled roof has an active leak around the valley area with yellow ceiling stains inside the house. Tiles along the left side of the metal valley are lifting and uneven, especially from the middle toward the bottom section. Looking for an experienced roofing contractor to carry out a proper roof and valley inspection by lifting/removing tiles in the affected area to inspect the valley metal, battens, underlay and tile alignment underneath. I am not looking for surface patch repairs, torch-on waterproofing, rubber coating, membrane overlap systems or paint-on waterproofing solutions. I want the underlying roof problem properly identified and repaired after inspection of the exposed valley area.
Hello! I would like to arrange for a FREE Quotation on my roof. Morning. I have a corrugated iron roof which have a 35 degree slope. A new braai room was added which have a flat roof slope. 2 months ago the whole roof was painted with Lekker Rubber rubberised paint. The new braai room must have, what I presume to be 0.3 mm corrugated iron, and with the painters must have bend. With the rain the roof is leaking causing the ceiling to collapsed. the home was treated with eco-insulation 8 months ago. I need an expert to sort out the leaking flat roof. Your expert guidance is appreciated
The roof has been maintained since we moved here five years ago regularly, but during the last storm there was water coming through into my bedroom on the line of the extension which was fitted five years ago. We have had various roofers into help with this particular problem over the last three years and no one has been able to help. I need someone who is extremely proficient in their job and we’ll be able to fix it. This morning a leak was in my daughter‘s bedroom on the same line of extension, and I push the ceiling and a hole appeared with loads of water pouring out so it’s obviously got in and also soaked the insulation.
