This is the price for a roofing inspection of a house with 70–100 square metres of roof area, without VAT. The final price will depend on the size and complexity of the roof. It is required by law (specifically, the Building Standards Act Section 14(2A) and the National Building Regulations (Regulation A19)) for a new roof structure to be inspected and certified by a qualified roof inspector. For roof inspection, expect to pay between R800 and R1400.

I had a new roof installed but i'm not sure if its done correctly and cant get hold of the guys now. Would like to know if i need to do anything or just wait until it breaks. There seems to be alot of movement on the new sheeting. Installed chromoadek but its not as firm as the old rotten one. Sheets seem to be drilled in firm at the scews. The other thing i'm concerned about is the headwall and sidewall flashing, it does not seem flush against the wall and they just put membrane and sealed it.

Prior to purchase of property. On the ceilings I noticed small water marks, like condensation. There is a leak in the roof. I've gone to do an inspection but it's not clear where its coming from. I suspect it's from the opening for the electrical work. I will attach. There are three different structures on the same property - the main house, a garage and a flat. Off the top of y head, I would guess the total square meters to be over sqm. The main house is a mixture of tile and asbestos and the garage and flat are other compounds, not too sure what. Shoprite Nelspruit Cash and Carry had damages on their roof with the huge storm. We need a quotation to repair the roof as it is leaking severely now when it rains. We'd love to change the design, install a whole new roof. Perhaps extend the height, I'm wondering if you do other stuff besides the roof. Clear IBR (?) sheeting over a section of the garage (two car tunnel) lifted in strong wind. Currently held down by a couple of rocks but needs replacement. Perhaps general inspection of rest of roof would be good idea. Also wooden shelter between Kitchen and Garage which is flat, has bitumised (Laycool) (?) top. which has leak. Am concerned water collecting there could cause wood rot. Hasn't had bitumen redone for a year or two Needs redoing.
