I hope you are well as you receive this email. I'm in a process of getting reimbursement from LPFF after filing a claim as recommended by LPC after the findings of their investigation. Now my problem is that, the lawyer Mr Phillip Masiza who has been interdicted by LPC from practicing after seizing all the files except mine is nowhere to be found and LPFF needs copy of it or proof of sequestration if there's one to release the funds. I would like to request you to check if there's a sequestration order issued for him by the courts of law because that's my only option and hope since he can't be located or advise what I can do legally to force him to submit my file to both LPC and LPFF. I wanted to Pawn a truck for R (twenty thousand rands) 11 days ago - 03 April . I initialed and signed the agreement. I handed over to the Pawnshop the truck ownership certificate. I demanded that the total repayment amount be filled in the agreement and a copy be given to me. The Pawnshop filled in an outrageous amount of R (one hundred and three thousand rands) that I must repay within 30 days. I said I cancel the contract and I managed to take back the car registration/ownership paper, which I still posses. It was late after 5pm so I was told the truck was already locked away in the garage. I had to fly out of the country the following day. I made arrangements for my wife to fetch the truck. The Pawnshop owner insisted on the agreement unilaterally and went ahead to deposit the R into my account. He ignored my request for him to provide me with his banking details. I have not touched his R and I want to refund him and get my truck back.
