I have a roof leaks in the area in and around the patio braai chimney. As a result I have a leak in the adjacent bedroom

There are masonite ceiling boards beneath the roof overhang around the outside of house. The brandering and supports for theses boards is old / rotten / missing and the boards are starting to come loose They need to be reattached and the edges sealed with silicon please. I am happy to Whatsapp pictures of the temporary repairs that I have done if this will help.
My roof shows areas on the ridges that requires fixing. Fix all loose screws and loose plates.
