I am 65 years old. Was married for 35 years then got divorced. After some years I met my current partner. We have been living together for 4 years. I received R1million from my divorce settlement. With that money and from the sale of my motor vehicle I managed to purchase the house we are living in at the moment. Unfortunately I did a silly thing and had the house registered in my name as well as my partners name. We had a verbal agreement that if I put the house in both our names then my partner would have to share everything he had with me. Meaning we would be living as if we were married in community of property. My partner is 68 and was retrenched. He did however find other employment. Salary around R per month plus he receives a monthly pension of around R. Things are not going well between us. I want to leave him but he now refuses to give me half of his salary and his pension. Says I am only entitled to half the proceeds of the house and some household items. He has a hobby collection worth around R1million. I put money towards this collection as well. I would like to know where I stand financially with this. For example....can I claim half his hobby collection, half his salary, half his vehicle and half his pension?

I live with my wife whom we are traditional married I have done everything at her home paid lobola and all traditional retuals. 9 years in relationship with her. She went on to my phone one day and found messages that I was flirting with a lady so she have locked me out .I went to get protection order for her so she must give me guys, after the police served her ,she went to court to get protection order and lying that I have pushed her and shes not safe to live with me insurance house even though shes the one applied for the house but we all pay for the house. Now I'm renting as I have been removed from the house. Even though I was granted court order from magistrate that i must stay in the house till court date.she was not granded order but the police removed me from the house . Need assistance regarding what to do.
I have two cars parked (next to each other) under a shadecloth, which, as it turns out, was a complete waste of time. I would like to have the roof of the carport in line with, as far as possible, the top block of the vibracrete wall so as to ensure as little sun as possible gets in. The issue I have is the carport gets the south easter from the south east and gets the northwest as well. My concern would be the wind blowing the roof off if it got blocked into a wind tunnel of sorts.

I paid lobola of R last year July they her side of the family, did a lobola celebration according to their tswane tradition and my 2 reletives were there. We have not yet went to home affairs to register yet...thank god but I am working in Witbank and she is staying with her mother in Johannesburg also studying....I proposed that she stops school for now n come and stay with me in Witbank as undeliverably so, so she refused and she says she won't do that, she doesn't want kids and says she is not ready for kids. I am paying her school fees since last year may if m not mistaken untill now but she can't come and be a wife to me.
I was in court for 5 years now the state lawyer says they found my dna in the victim but I can't remember touching her I was drunk and attracted by her boyfriend I lost my eye site I was 17 years when this happened.im not happy with this I need a lawyer to investigate this how can this be possible but her boyfriend hit me that bad and he is still treating me he says he wount rest until I'm dead
I currently have a three bedroom, 2 bathroom home with open plan kitchen, tv room, living room and dinning. I want to add an additional bedroom by closing up the current TV room and add a jack and jill shower/toilet bathroom between the existing bedroom and new bedroom. Then add a scullery to my kichen using existing space, so not added. Add a guest loo to the current lounge and extend the lounge to add an indoor braai/ entertainment area. According to the plan, the additional sqr m added is 40 sqr (guest loo plus entertainment area) plus the renovation of the TV to bedroom, bathroom and scullery. Please provide a quote.
