How much does an architect cost in South Africa?
The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) publishes "standard rates" based on a price per square meter when using a building cost of R12 500 per m².
Looking to build bachelor apartments ( double storey) on the one side and house on the other side ( need plans for both, it would help if there a yard planning at well.
I currently have a four room house. I want to remodel it into a double storey house with four bedrooms, with 3 bathrooms, (one en suite, downstairs) kitchen, lounge and a sitting room. ( 2 bedroom upstairs with a balcony). *One bedroom en-suite downstairs with separate toilet and a bathroom.
I need a 4 bedroom house built for an affordable price on a plot in Benoni. We are looking for simple. Flat steel roof. modern squire simple design. Attached are some ideas. We will not be going for such big windows to save cost. However look the frame of the house. I am looking at having a 4 bedroom flat , The main bedroom will have an en suite .1 Bathroom , Kitchen ,lounge ,dinning room garage (bigger than a normal size garage) .I dont want any paving just bricks outside, the rooms inside will also need plastering and interior painting.
I want to have a shopping centre/supermarket in Ndevana Location . 2 Bathrooms inside for the staff , Bakery and Butchery kitchen for cooking for the staff . This will be one supermarket and no any other stores attached.
I have a single garage with some space between in front of it and on the side of it. I am hoping to extend the garage towards the road (up until boundary) with a double garage to allow two more cars added to the currently installed single garage. I've attached a simple sketch to assist the explanation. Erf size is m² and the floor size is m², but the size of the double garage I would like to add to the existing garage is a standard double garage of 6x6 m, which is 36 m².
