Requesting a quotation to build a media wall (approx mm L x mm D x mm H) with plinth (approx mm L x mm D x mm H) to recess a mm wood closed combustion fireplace and TV above fireplace. Require 3 built-in shelves on either side of TV wall. To exclude the installation of the fireplace which will be completed by the supplier. Moth flies have unfortunately started breeding in our bathroom. Also moisture and paint has begun to bubble in the passage and bedroom wall. I need to remove the cladding and tiles on our shower walls and waterproof the walls. After waterproofing and sealing the wall, we need to add aesthetics. Will share finishing and design I’m thinking of.
1. Need a budget friendly company. House is not overly complicated, i just need a final product delivered. To be upfront, i don't have the best experiences with builders, so i am looking for companies with a track record of quality delivery. I will not be making upfront payments, the bank will be paying on a stage completion basis. 2. Location is rural, nothing fancy about the area its built. Total size of property sqms, but with regulations the building size will be decreased to about -sqms. 3. Due to small size above, a second level will be added to create more space. 4. Preferably companies who also offer plumbing and electrical services. I would need compliance certificates on everything that needs certificates. 5. Materials to be bought at local cooperation. Hi, I hope you are doing well. I would like to enquire about putting up a sink roof at our home. The area is approximately 65 square metres. We currently have a carport on one side, and we would like to extend it into an L-shaped sink roof that connects to an open cement area, which we would also like to cover. We are planning to build a wall between the carport section and the extended area. At the end of the L-shape, we would like to renovate the space underneath the roof into a braai and entertainment area. Need quote for perimeter wall showing signs of water seepage as a previous contractor failed to do the required sealing as the paint is peeling away three months after applying the paint. The perimeter walls are damaged inside and on the outside of a three meter high wall and against the neighbour garage which is about 4m high. Will need three contractor quotes. See attached photos. Walls will need crack filling,sealing and a border for exterior paint and all works will also have to include the paint. Thanks
Hi 🙂I’m looking at renovating my apartment and wanted to get a rough estimate please. I’d like to build a completely new cottage/farmhouse style kitchen in the current dining room/lounge area (attached inspiration photo), with warm wood finishes, cottage style cabinetry, a small island, open shelving and a cozy modern farmhouse feel. The current kitchen would then be converted into a combined laundry + walk in pantry/scullery. Key Structural & Technical Specifications 1. The "Wrapping Band" Roof Detail The signature feature is a modern "wrapping concrete band". Our separate toilet must be upgraded. Our bathroom must be renovated to consist of a bath, a toilet, a shower and a hand basin - this will require a plan drawn up and submitted on our behalf to COCT. Our house is built with break face. We want to extend a kitchen which is approximately 3.5X3.5m. We want to extend it by 1.3mX3.5m . We also want to open door through the current bathroom that will get you into a new approximately 1.80X2.90 bathroom that we want to build. The new bathroom will need two new walls and one long one because the other long one will be the already built one for the main bedroom. We also want to extend another bedroom wall that will fit an ordinary 3 door wardrobe. The wall of the extended wall forming sort of a cave for the wardrobe will be divining a "cave" and a new bathroom. We don't know how to calculate square metres unfortunately. This is as far as I can describe this project.
