Custom website vs website templates: Which should I pick?
The pros and cons of using custom and pre-made website designs.
What is needed on the site: Smart front main page -Should show 3-5 slides with promotions and specials -Search menu on top -Cookies enabled allowing user search tracking Hyperlink enabled on all, Sign in account , where user’s need to create an account and add items to a trolley Ability to pay via paypal , EFT Admin: a portal or something relevant where I could change specials / prices / add promotions etc – not change the site but change items etc. Example of site: https://pclinkshop.co.za/ Main categories on top Sub category (no pictures etc just links) I.e: Main Category – Computing Sub Cat : Laptops , Desktops Repairs company

I am looking to build an eCommerce website with management system that I will be able to control once the build is finished. I am also looking for assistance with paid Google and Facebook ad re-targeting campaigns for lead gen and direct sales. Still in process to buy new business. We looked at using Shopify as the web builder, they have most of the key aspects needed for such a site. Adding other functions does become harder. Our website will consist of three different product types, namely Vinyl, Laminated and SPC. Each has 3-5 ranges. Average 5 product per range. In total there are 60 items currently available that we will show to our customers. The key is to make our website as eye catching as possible, but still keep the navigation as simple as possible for clients. From product selection to visualizer, floor calculator, then checkout cart must be extremely easy for clients to navigate.
