I have a solar system with 13, w panels and 10kva inverter, 2 x 5kw batteries but the highest output when the temperature is 27 degrees celcius is barely 2.9kw. I want someone to check my system and help rectify what is wrong. PS we have no change what we had in winter and now maybe w is the difference.
Would like to go Hybrid, but mostly off grid. We use at most kw a month, with our bill being between R - R with eskom. Will probably need at least a 10kva converter, and 20kwh battery (must have a 10 yr warrenty) and enough solar panels to feed household. Will alsoneed to have a app for monitoring and a solar smart switch for the geyser. Lastly a maintenence plan and assistance with eskom registration to ensure I comply with the national regulations.
3x 6kw growatt inverters to be parallell'ed each inverter will have 2 strings of 6 panels . ah battery bank, 36 bifacial w solar panels. Equipment to be installed on the ground floor of the building. There's only 4 flats in this building. A cage 1.1m X 2.5m x 2.5m high burglar bar cage to house the equipment. Quote to include all cabling, fuses ect. Quote on supply and fit and construct cage.
We are in a dual living house with 2 adjoined units. Unit 2 already has a Victron 3kw inverter with sufficient solar panels and lithium iron batteries. We wish to add a second Victron 3Kw inverter with related solar panels (installed on a flat roof) to unit 1. We already have the required lithium iron batteries currently supporting an invertor that is to be discarded. We hope to have the 2 Victron invertors connected in series to work together? Is this possible? We also need a compatible generator to allow us to go off-grid.
Looking for information and pricing
I need solar system for a house in the rural area at Eastern Cape. There is no electricity in the whole area. The house is wired already and we are using generator currently. It's for basic needs such as Fridge, TV, lights, microwave, washing machine and of cause cellphone charging only. I'm looking for at least 3kw solar package(inverter, battery and 3 panels)
I am looking for a renewable energy solution to my 2 bedroomed house with the 2 external rooms with a capability of energizing A fridge , WiFI and TV. This must be a converter with a battery and charged by ESKOM and solar panels to harvest suns rays. It must be around 3 kw. Recommend the cheapest.
Good day, At my current property I have 1x Luxpower 5kw Hybrid Invertor, 1x Volta Stage 1 Battery and 10x panels (not sure of w). This is enough to power my geyser, borehole pump, pool pump and everything else and lasts during the night in summer (need to buy some elc during winter). Moving to a new place without a pool pump and borehole pump. Looking for a similar a setup, with either 8x panels or maybe a bigger battery (or two of the same depended on cost). What would the estimated cost be, including installation, parts, various certificates, sseg etc. This is for a normal, single story, slanted tiled roof. Location is in Brackenfell. Kind Regards de
Dear Sir/Madam Would you kindly review the attached specs and project links - and quote us on the audit, supply and installation of solar system solutions https://resource-efficiency-programme.lovable.app/ https://forms.gle/AQzkUZMAXiC3RgmF6 Kind Regards Project Director
Request for Quotation (RFQ) - Residential Solar Power System We are seeking a comprehensive quotation for the supply, delivery, and professional installation of a grid-tied or hybrid residential solar power system with the following key specifications: System Core Components & Specifications: Inverter: 12 kVA high-quality inverter (e.g., Deye or equivalent approved brand). Battery Storage: Approximately 10 kWh to 12 kWh nominal capacity using Greenrich batteries or equivalent, high-cycle, deep-discharge LiFePO4 batteries from a reputable brand. Solar PV Panels: A total array output of approximately 6.5 kWp (Kilowatt-peak). This should be achieved using high-efficiency panels, ideally 12 x W Canadian Solar panels or equivalent panels with comparable or better wattage/efficiency ratings. System Design: The system should be designed to maximize solar harvest, ideally with a PV array input significantly higher than the inverter's capacity (e.g., PV array power>Inverter capacity) to ensure maximum power generation during peak sunlight hours. Ancillary Equipment: The quote must include all necessary balance-of-system components, including but not limited to: mounting structure (roof-specific), DC and AC protection devices, cabling, isolators, change-over switches, breakers, and a Wi-Fi monitoring module. Scope of Work: The quotation must cover the following: Supply of all specified and necessary components. Transportation and Delivery to the installation site (location to be specified). Professional Installation, commissioning, and system handover by qualified and certified technicians. This must include all labour, accommodation, and travel costs associated with a full installation process, including required travel for material collection (if applicable). Certificates of Compliance (CoC) and all necessary documentation upon completion. Quotation Format: Please provide a detailed quotation that clearly separates the costs for: Equipment/Materials Cost (Itemized List) Installation/Labour Cost Transportation/Logistics Cost Total System Cost (excl. and incl. VAT) We require a system that is robust, reliable, and capable of handling significant loads, including a standard electric geyser.
