Do I need an architect if I want to build a house in South Africa?
A professional that is registered with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession must submit the building plans before extending, renovating or building a home.
Build another room approx 12 x 16 m2 on existing house to use as a small home based hair salon with separate entrance.
I need a vibracrete wall ( approximately 15m long) and a standard single garage drawn onto the plan to be submitted to the council.
additional of main bath room only.I want to change the bathroom to a dressing room and then add the new bathroom to the house.

A 2 bedroom home for VIlla Maroc. Ideally with a loft space or extra room as an additional entertainment area (mancave) with a skylight. Large open space living area with a skylight, modern kitchen, main bedroom to have a walk in closet and ensuite bathroom with double shower and free standing tub. A second bathroom with shower. Preference for downlights. Wood laminate flooring throughout with the exception of tiles for the bathrooms. Concept ideas and design aspects I like included in attachments. Energy effecient home if possible. Exterior would need to meet criteria of estate but definite preference for blacks and whites. Costs to be kept down without sacrificing on quality. Hi, Just moved in to our new home and require a few changes. - Remodeling of the kitchen having a island with a gas stove. - Extention of the ensuit main bedroom.
