Hi there, I have currently 6 panels installed on a flat roof in a double story house and I am looking to add another 2-3 panels depending on costs, I have a luxpower SNA inverter and a 5.12 Shoto battery. Looking for a quote on getting 3 panels of W added to this installation as its a flat roof it will also need the brackets to raise them
I have a 5 kW Sunsynk inverter connected to two 5 kWh Revov 2nd LiFe (lithium iron phosphate) batteries, and a solar array consisting of nine W panels. Lately, I’ve noticed a significant drop in power generation even on sunny days. I’m concerned the solar panels may be underperforming or nearing the end of their lifespan. There’s also a possibility the wiring has been damaged or degraded, which could be contributing to the power loss. I’d appreciate guidance on how to diagnose and address the issue.
Hi. We are a off grid house. No electricity 2 active bedrooms, x1 TV, x1 Kitchen with x1 Microwave that only works now and then. X1 Freezer and 2 Fridges. X1 Wasingmashine. We are looking for a small affordable system to start with. Nothing big and fancy just something that can work with the above? Our budget is very tight Greetings .
The house is 4 bedroom , 2 living rooms Would like a system that allows us to be off grid as much as possible on an ESCOM registered system. Also allowing for power interruptions with invertor (if necessary) and battery storage I am currently shopping around for quotes, and any contractor would need to supply references.
I already have 9 panels, use 8, one disconnected was to much for inverter. Need another 7 panels I currently have a Growat 5kw inverter and 3.5kw Pylontech battery, installed two years ago. I want a bigger system, not sure what option is best: trade in old for new or extend current system. I want 8 or 10 kw inverter and two 5k2 batteries with enough solar panels.

Preference will be given to panels with a max.power string voltage of 94-95v. Other voltages will be considered. Panels to augment an existing installation.
To keep house running, lights, all electrical equipment. Pool heater. Geyser etc 12.5 kWh Inverter but quote a 10.5 kWh as well 16 panels watt Batteries 5kwh x 4 and quote as well with 2x 12.5 kWh Installation hopefully by end of November or sometime in December but will know +- end of this month
It is a bit difficult for me to answer this question. It is my property but I am renting it out. There is two buildings the one is a garden flat, I am only thinking of the house for now. Unfortunately I can only afford up to the amount of R50 .00 but I am aware that it might not be sufficient for a 4 bedroom house. Therefore need some technical advice. Regards, Carina
