How much does an architect cost in South Africa?
The South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP) publishes "standard rates" based on a price per square meter when using a building cost of R12 500 per m².
Project is for two types of houses. One storyhouse 3bedroom, 2 bathrooms, double garage, one extra visitor's parking, open plan, yard with a pool. B) two story House 3 bedroom, 2 bathrooms ,double garage ,one extra visitor's parking,open plan, yard with pool. Some houses with pools and some without. Gated community/ estate Community pool Security at the gate

I want to go 2 levels up
A basic square shaped double-story with 8 units in total. 4 on each floor. Also, would it be possible to have a generic plan drawn up which can later be placed on a specific plot layout. Keen to hear from you guys.

Redraw existing plans as originals apparently not available (not sure if true), or get original plan obtained from municipality and additional add ons. Then to get it approved with municipality.
