When do I need a building permit in South Africa?
In South Africa, building applications for the construction of property and land use are highly regulated.

I have purchased a house that has recently been built. I would like ideas on furnishing and decorating. So I have bought a brand new home, the kitchen has been designed by the owner already but not built yet. he also designed the cupboards for the bedroom but allowed me to make changes. I’m not sure how decorators work in terms of costs. Kindly send me infor via email or what’s app as I’m at work and cannot speak. I would like ideas for bedroom, lounge, dining area and a bachelor pad decorating.

I generally like the traditional classic look but this house has modern elements and hence my need for assistance so that it doesn't look confused. The look needs to be sophisticated, but also functional because we have a toddler and family may still grow. Obviously it needs to be cost effective. This renovation will involve putting up a 2 dividing dry walls and construction of 2 bathrooms and 3 kitchenettes. I prefer email communication.

Hi. I am currently working on a project of starting my own car wash-café in Tembisa. My idea is to have a small café that will cater for my customers whilst they wait for their cars to be washed. The café will be erected on a space no more than 8m× 4,5 m. I wish for the car wash café to be distinct from the ones around the neighbourhood and surrounding areas- hence I introduced a café. I would like a black bold interior with lighting that makes clients feel welcomed and comfortable. An L shaped couch and a small table to go with it. And a few silver steel chairs and tables to match with it. I wish for a setting that will accommodate people who come in as groups, pairs and or individuals. And also a counter on the right. The building has sliding doors facing towards the car wash through the 8metre side.. just to give a picture of the scenery.

We just recently moved into a 3 bedroom with 2 and a half bathrooms. I need assistance with interior designing as I intend on selling all our old furniture. One bedroom is for myself and husband, the second room which has an en-suite will be used as our guest room and during school holidays when the kids are away we intend on putting the guest room on Airbnb.
