How to choose the right architect for your house plans?
This four-step process should help you find the right architect for the job of drawing house plans.
I want to add two rooms at the back of the house, extend my bedroom and add a garage.
Current garden very overgrown and neglected - back garden is a shade garden with quite a few plants and shrubs that aren’t suitable for shade. Garden needs to be cleaned up and redesigned. The back lawn is very patchy as it doesn’t get much sun - seems to have a few different varieties of grass planted. Lawn needs to be dug up, soil fertilised and suitable shade grass planted. Front garden grass is fine as it is sunny. Plants overgrown which need to be removed and/or cut back and replaced with new suitable plants/ shrubs. Open to suggestions of what design /layout would be suitable so no specific style preference other than it should be water wise and easy to maintain.
Design and renovate kitchen and dining room area. Would like to open plan the kitchen and dining area to create a bigger space. Will require removing two walls and removing existing kitchen cupboards and a complete redesign of the layout.
This is an existing thatched patio. To add 1 brick wall (half) and window. The other brick wall with a sliding door. Need the plan for trustee and council approval.
I don't know the size. but I want this artificial lawn and some plants. and nice design
We are planning a renovation of our production facilities (±m²) and will require building plan submissions for architecture, fire, drainage and ventilation. We are able to produce the plans in PDF & DWG format for the services but do not have the ability to sign them off.
I am looking at building a home of approx. squares. I have a budget of about R11 per sqm built.
We are just adding to the current corrugated roofing and extending the current deck by 2m squared.
We would require contractor to visit the building to send a detailed quotation of all work to be done in order for the building to be maintained.
