My eldery gran lives in our stand alone beach house. She struggles to move around so want to put up around five wooden railings around the areas she most frequently walks and needs more support. Then I'm also looking at getting a quote for taking the tub out of her ensuite bathroom and puttin a walk-in shower in there.
Good morning. I required a quote to build a 50m2 room with 4 windows on the 1st Floor. Walls to be prepped and primer painted white. Roof is flat ibr where the section will be built. New flat roof to be installed with new IBR sheets with gypsum celing. Straight stairs to be install for access. All interior finishings and electrical wiring will be arranged by myself. Thank you
Old cottage on a farm with structurally sound walls and roof (zinc, A-frame). Cottage is approximately 60sqm and has one bedroom with en-suite bathroom and walk in shower. Other bedroom is bit smaller with no en-suite bathroom. The second bathroom has it's own separate entrance (thus functions as a guest bathroom). The entire property is essentially hollowed out, all that remains are walls and roof. I have a minute a minute and a half worth of footage which couldn't be uploaded.

Please note that sqm size was an estimate and if my requirements exceed that then it's acceptable as I do require spacious rooms.
We want to add a second story to the northern flank of this building as indicated in "lugfoto_aanbouings". In the resulting 60m^2 area, we would need a bedroom with a east-facing covered balcony and North-facing windows, a main bathroom and a baby-room. We played with concepts of A-frame type roof structures with dormer windows to the north, or a copy of the existing structure's roof on a second story. Short term, we need to know whether the house can structurally support a second story, how long such a project would take and what the cost of such additions could amount to. Long term we need an Architect and contractor
I used a company last week to do patch up work on places where there were cracks and dampness. They used the following: Paint Crack filler Damp shield The owners were not happy with the texture of the patch up work and I want a quote to try and smooth out the texture and get it as close to the original paint as possible.
I have a Facebook house, I want to plaster most of the internal walls. Also want to break down walls between living room, dining room and kitchen to make it open plan. Also want to put island and new cupboards in kitchen and rooms. Want to upgrade/modernise the bathrooms. Might want to add a 4 x 4 meter extension to the main bedroom, so I can also make the bathroom bigger and add a dressing room. At the back, I want to break out some of the windows of the lounge and dining room to add large sliding doors. Want to redo the pool. Want to redo the fence. Want to just change the entrance a bit to give it a more modern look from the front.
1. That the roof sheets and waterproofing are in a deteriorated state. 2. The sheets show signs of corrosion, deformation, and surface wear, especially at joints and overlaps, with visible gaps that reduce water resistance. 3. The material is cracked, worn, and in some areas has failed completely, exposing sections of the roof to potential leaks during rainfall. 4. Dirt, leaves, and other debris have accumulated in the roof valley and along joints, obstructing water flow, causing backflow, and accelerating deterioration.
This is a renovation project to a fix resultant damage from a burst water pipe in the upstairs bathroom. The extent of damage is fairly minimal and the leak has already been fixed. I need quotations to inform the insurance assessment. Scope of works includes: Rebuilding of a kitchen BIC Retiling a few tiles that were knocked out when pipe was fixed. Screed, priming and painting in the kitchen, lounge, upstairs bedroom and entrance. Potentially replacing a back (external) door.
